2026 Infield Only League (Pre-K - 1st Grade)

Infield-only League: Machine Pitch
Girls or boys currently in Pre-K through 1st grade (based on player’s skill-set)
Games: Saturday mornings and possibly some Friday nights starting week of May 20, 2026
Fee: $50 per player (includes t-shirt)
Practices: TBD

Windmill League (2nd - 11th Grade) 2026

Windmill League:
 Age: Girls currently in 2nd grade through 11th grade - Placement based on birthday as of Sept 1, 2026
8U - Wednesdays (single games); Practices typically on Monday
10U – Mondays (single games through school year; double headers during summer); Practices typically on Wednesdays
12U – Tuesdays (double headers); Practices typically on Thursdays
14U – Thursdays (double headers); Practices typically on Tuesdays
- 16U – Wednesdays (double headers ); Practices TBD
 
The first games are tentatively scheduled for the week of 5/26. We should know our schedules by beginning of May
 
-Parent Meeting: CSA will be holding an informational parent meeting in late March or early April - watch your email for details!
-Coaches Meeting: CSA will be holding an information coaches meeting late March or early April - watch your email for details!
 - Practices: Watch for open gym times on the CSA Facebook page for indoor practice opportunities with the high school coaching staff. Team practices may start as early as mid-April, weather permitting or at coach’s discretion  
 - End-of-Year Tournament: First weekend of August 2026, Watertown, WI
 - Windmill Travel League Coordinator: Beth Breitsprecker
PLAYER FEES & PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS*If your family is facing financial hardship, please reach out to [email protected] for assistance
  1. $120 participation fee
  2. Fees include USA insurance, ump fees, Windmill League fees, field maintenance fees, paid entry for the Windmill Travel League end-of-year tournament, and tournament t-shirt.
  3. A $20 late fee will be applied if registration is received after March 15, 2026
  4. Coverage of at least 1 concession shift per family
  5. Participation in CSA- sponsored fundraisers
 
JERSEYS
If your athlete needs a jersey, please select that option and an additional $40 jersey fee will apply. When ordering your player's jersey, consider ordering up a size so it can be used more than one season.

  • Softball glove
  • Face Shield
  • Black Softball Pants
  • Red Socks
  • Red belt
  • Cleats- not mandatory but recommended
  • ASA Batting helmet with face shield- Helmets are provided but players are encouraged to have their own
  • Bat- are provided but players are encouraged to bring own
  • Water bottle
PARENT VOLUNTEER NEEDED- Board Members, Coaches and Umpires
The CSA Board members and parent grade representatives are needed! We would love to have your help!
**CSA Board members receive free registration for one player**
 
ALL PLAYERS WELCOME
The Columbus Softball Association, Inc. (CSA) welcomes all girls to play, even if they are not Columbus residents or do not attend Columbus schools! Player placement will be based on ability. After April 1, 2024, placement is contingent upon team availability.
 
10U, 12U & 14U CSA Softball Tournament
CSA is working on hosting one day round robin tournament for ages 10U, 12U, and 14U. We will be asking families to help cover concessions shift during one of those days, as well as possible concession donations for the event. More information to follow
